UAB HOSPITAL RENOVATION AT JEFFERSON TOWER FOR NURSING EDUCATION

Relevance to contract: Healthcare/ Education. We provided a layout  for the renovation on the 7th floor of the Jefferson tower Building for the Nursing Education. The design included a Nursing Replicate RN Station at 2,718 sqft., PCT Skill Lab at 1,794sqft, Simulated Nursing Unit at 833 sqft. Student Break room at 290 sqft., Staff Break room at 555 sqft. The design also included two large Class rooms one at 1,260 sqft for a capacity of 40 people with a removable partition and a second Class room at 801 sqft for a capacity of 27 people with a removable partition  and a Computer Lab at 990 sqft for a capacity of 39 people and Men  and Women ADA Restrooms. Also we provided two Conference rooms one with a capacity of 28 people at 589 sqft and a second one with a capacity for 6 people. Also, an administration area was provided consisting of 6 Standard Offices, a Copy/Work Room, Secretary Office, Continuing Education Office, Continuing Education file room, a File Secretary Office and  two Storage rooms. The projected cost was $1,053,742.
